Storyline:
At 9 years old, Abraham Lincoln witnesses his mother died in a vampire Jack Barts. About 10 years ago, unsuccessfully trying to remove Barts but this process makes Henry Sturgess, who TEACHES fight and what it takes to kill a vampire known. Quid pro quo is that both will kill vampires only Henry directs. They moved to Springfield, where he gets a job as a store clerk, and is studying law and kills vampires at night. He also meets and eventually marries Mary Todd pretty. Many years later as president of the United States, you get to understand that vampires fighting with the Confederate forces. Therefore, it is mounted in its campaign to defeat them.
